Jenna Dukes
Fighting for smarter growth, safer roads, and stronger communities across the North Strand. A proven leader ready to keep delivering results.
A Small-Town Pharmacist Fighting for Horry County
Jenna Dukes grew up in the small rural town of Gilbert, West Virginia. After earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from West Virginia University, she moved to the North Myrtle Beach area and spent nearly a decade serving the community as a pharmacist at Walgreens.
In 2018, Jenna opened Cherry Grove Drug, the only independent pharmacy in North Myrtle Beach. Behind the pharmacy counter, she heard a constant flow of concerns from residents about traffic, infrastructure, and growth outpacing services.
In 2022, Jenna answered the call. She defeated a five-term incumbent to become the first woman elected to Horry County Council in over a decade. Now she’s running for re-election to continue the work.

Infrastructure & Roads
Addressing the traffic congestion and road safety issues that come with Horry County’s explosive growth. We can’t approve new development without a plan to build the roads first.
Public Safety
Ensuring our first responders have the resources they need and that every resident in District 1 has timely access to emergency services, ambulances, and hospitals.
Smart Growth
Proactive planning instead of reactive responses. Development agreements over impact fees to ensure our county’s growth benefits residents, not just developers.
Government Transparency
Bridging the gap between county government and the people it serves. Jenna believes every resident deserves a voice and a seat at the table.
Community Development
Supporting small businesses, local entrepreneurs, and the unique character of our North Strand communities from Little River to Atlantic Beach.
Quality of Life
Protecting the quality of life that makes Horry County special while ensuring services keep pace with our rapidly growing population.
